Take a leisurely stroll through Virginia Gold on our Just for Fun Tour — a relaxed, sightseeing tour that makes a great introduction to life on our working farm. You’ll visit our cows and pigs at their pastures and meet the animals up close from behind the safety of the fence. Guests will learn how our regenerative farming methods create healthier livestock and better meat.
Along the way, we’ll share the story behind our handcrafted tallow skincare line and what makes it so unique. Capture beautiful photos at scenic stops around the farm, then finish your visit at our farm shop where you can take home meats, balms, and other farm-made goods.
Please note: this is a shared tour experience. On busy days, we may pair up to four groups together to enjoy the tour as a larger group.

Feed and Frolic Tour
Get a little closer to the action with our Feed & Frolic Tour — a hands-on, heartwarming experience for animal lovers of all ages. You’ll enjoy all the highlights of our Just for Fun Tour, plus extra time at the pastures to hand-feed our friendly pigs and cows right through the fence line.
Learn how we raise and care for our livestock using regenerative methods that keep our land healthy and our products exceptional. With plenty of photo-worthy moments and fresh farm air, it’s the perfect blend of fun, education, and connection with agriculture.

VIP Farm Tour
Experience the very best of Virginia Gold Ranch on our VIP Farm Tour — an exclusive, all-access journey through the heart of our farm. Climb aboard our vintage tour vehicle and ride in comfort as we explore multiple pastures and scenic viewpoints.
Along the way, you’ll learn about our regenerative farming methods, what makes our livestock and meats so exceptional, and how we craft our nourishing tallow skincare products right here on the farm. Guests can feed the animals safely from the vehicle and even step inside select pastures for up-close moments and unforgettable photos.
The experience begins with welcome drinks at our onsite winery and concludes at our farm shop for a private tasting/product sampling featuring our meats, balms, and seasonal orchard produce.

Farmer for a Day Tour
Roll up your sleeves and step into the boots of a real Virginia Gold farmer with our Farmer for a Day Tour — an immersive, behind-the-scenes experience for those who want to truly understand how and why we do what we do.
This extended tour includes everything from our VIP Farm Tour, plus added time in each pasture and pen for hands-on learning. You’ll help mix the cows’ daily mineral rations, prepare specialized feed for our breeding pigs, check field waters and electric fences, and learn how we balance animal care, land stewardship, and business operations in a regenerative ranching model.
Along the way, enjoy plenty of photo opportunities, meaningful animal encounters, and open discussions about everything from farrowing to USDA-inspected processing. Perfect for the naturally curious, aspiring farmers, or anyone who wants to see what life on a working farm is really all about.
